Funky Fungus
Dear Krissy,
I think I have a fungus on my big toenail. I really don't want to get a pedicure right now because I'm embarrassed and I don't want to burden a nail technician with the problem. Is there something I can use to clear up the situation? Please help me because I miss my regular pedicures and can't wait to go back!!

A great home remedy is Tea Tree essential oil, as it is a natural antiseptic. I have also heard that soaking your toes in Listerine and or putting Vick's vapor rub on a fungus-infected toenail also helps. Please keep in mind that there are also over-the-counter products that you can buy to help the problem. Of course, if you do not see results within a reasonable timeframe, please seek the advice of a physician promptly.
