Scheduling a Spa Day

Dear Krissy,
I want to surprise my mom and treat her to several spa services, such as a massage, facial, and pedicure. I'm just not sure if I should schedule them all for the same day or for separate days. What do you suggest?

Hi Kavan,
What a nice thing to do for your mom! I suggest scheduling your special treat based on your mom's personality. If she likes to relax and have time to herself, then definitely schedule all of the treatments on the same day so that she can feel like she will receive a full spa experience. However, if your mom is the type that prefers not to sit still for too long, in that case I would recommend to schedule her treatments on separate days. This way, it's a gift that keeps on giving. Either way, she's sure to relish her "Spa Day" -- What a lucky mom!

Welcome!

Welcome to our blog!

We're proud to be celebrating our one-year anniversary at the Esterra Spa & Salon. It's been a WONDERFUL year! We've really enjoyed becoming part of the Fort Myers Beach community.

As we head into the end of 2008, the spa is happy to debut our new website, which incorporates our updated spa menu as well as a new blog feature that we hope will keep everyone up to date on spa news. We'll also use it to share Krissy's "Spa-cifically Speaking" column that runs in the Fort Myers Beach Observer. Of course, feel free to leave comments and email us anytime with questions.
